Logline: Two unlikely companions, a passerby and an alien, have a late night snack under unexpected circumstances. In their conversation, it is revealed that the alien's planet home, Planet Zyraex, has undergone dramatic environmental changes that drained the planet of its livestock, forcing the people to dig underground for remaining roots to survive. The alien escapes the planet in hopes to find a new habitable home, only to discover that Earth may not be far from suffering the same environmental tragedy that doomed Planet Zyraex.
