The Burbank International Film Festival invited you to join us Wednesday Night, April 6th at 7:30pm for a free Zoom Panel on Sound Recording & Mixing moderated by the festival's Artistic Director, Jeff Rector.
Victoria Sampson is an award-winning Supervising Sound Editor and won an Emmy Award along with the Golden Reel Award for "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl." Victoria has worked on over 220 films, is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) and is best known for "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi", "Speed", "Donnie Darko" and "Hot Tub Time Machine."
David Bartlett has worked with James Cameron, Quentin Tarantino, Joel Silver, William Friedkin, Paul Verhoeven, Gale Anne Hurd and Brian De Palma. David has won over 60 film festival awards, including an Emmy nomination for "Best Sound Effects Editing" on the mini-series "Space". His work as a sound editor contributed to the Academy Award nominated "Total Recall" and "Speed" which won two Academy Awards for Sound.
