BIFF was incredibly thrilled to have Tim Burton and his longtime friend and film composer, Danny Elfman, at our 2023 Awards Gala. With the City of Burbank, we proudly declared September 24th "Tim Burton Day" in recognition of the iconic filmmaker born and raised there. 🕷️ After receiving his honor, Tim sat down for a career retrospective with Scott Feinberg of the Hollywood Reporter's “Awards Chatter” podcast. Surprise guest— author and speaker Victoria Price, daughter of actor Vincent Price, was present to honor Burton and reflect on his collaborations with her father. Burton's relationship with BIFF began in 2022 when he agreed to lend his name to the Tim Burton Visionary Award. This award annually recognizes a local Burbank filmmaker who shows unique imagination and creativity.
